Caring Hands, Inc. has been providing superior in-home personal care for residents in Estes Park and the surrounding area since 2002. Rosemary Donahue, owner, founder, and CEO, is a registered nurse by profession and has a long-held special interest in senior care. She and her husband, Brian, are both experienced business owners who provide a deep level of commitment to their business, and to the clients and their families. They are also able to provide an excellent working relationship with employees, offering competitive wages, benefits and career growth opportunities.

Kris Lafferty
Kris has been a caregiver for Caring Hands, Inc. since June of 2008. She has enjoyed working with a variety of our clients in their homes. In April of 2009, she earned her CNA certification from the State Board of Nursing. She also fills in where needed, as well as assisting Hospice patients in emergency cases.
Kris has been working on getting brochures out to other elder care companies so that they can share information about our business. She has also been assisting Rosemary with reviewing advertising, so that Caring Hands will eventually acquire more clients that need our help, which means more work for all of us. She also assists Carleen with back up for some scheduling conflicts.
Moving from Wisconsin in 1977, the first job Kris had was in a nursing home in Loveland. She enjoyed visiting and helping the elderly, but opportunity arose in the newspaper field from there. She worked over 25 years in 3 newspapers including The Loveland Reporter-Herald, The Fort Collins Coloradoan, and the Estes Park Trail Gazette. Also in her communications background was a job in Yellow Page Advertising and Baja Broadband Cable TV and internet.
Kris has three children: Levi, Lacey, Lindsay, and 1 Grandchild: Mason.

Carleen Hentosh
Carleen has been with Caring Hands since December, 2007. She comes with a medical records background from Timberline Medical Center. This helps her with knowledge and accuracy while filing in our office. She also does an excellent job with scheduling our Caregivers. If you need assistance with scheduling issues or have questions about almost anything to do with office proceedures – Call Carleen in the afternoons. She will be happy to assist you in any way that she can.
Coming from Michigan, Carleen loves her life in the Estes Valley. She and her husband, Mike live in the Uplands where wildlife is plenty. Carleen’s hobby is stamping and provides all the special cards for clients and has just finished our Christmas Party Invitations. She and Mike enjoy listening to the 60’s and 70’s music and have a grown daughter, Samantha, living in Steamboat. They also have a beautiful Golden Retriever, whom they love to spoil.
In addition to our office staff, Caring Hands, Inc. also employs more than thirty highly qualified and caring individuals, including personal care providers, certified nursing assistants and registered nurses. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best care possible, at whatever level they may need.
